"This," the Fool said seriously. "Is all your fault."

He is not a happy Fool. They have taken his hat and they have taken his stick. They almost took his coat but in the end just patted him down and found nothing. Still, he is handcuffed and in the back of a police car with Reynard feeling far too human for his liking.

So, obviously, it must be the fox's fault, correct?

He bristles briefly not feeling quite sane... which is saying something. Or perhaps he's feeling light headed and kind of out of control.

"I don't have my stick. I don't have my hat," he says flatly.

And he has memories of being hanged.

"Oh hush and don't you worry."

Reynard rested his head on the Fool's shoulder, because why not, much as if they were seated in the back of the car for a trip to some nice place instead of custody.

"I'll get you your things back, sweeting, and I'll make sure you won't be held or harmed."

Sighing softly, he manages a bit of a smile. It is quite amazing how Reynard is always perfectly confident about everything. He'd scratch the fox's head but he hasn't managed to wiggle his way free of the cuffs. He's fairly certain that Reynard has.

"Good. Or I will be in trouble."

Unlike some people, the Fool actually has "adult" presences who keep an eye on him.

Most tended to find it annoying and it did bite Reynard in the ass every now and then, that overconfidence. But on the other hand, coming out on top was his thing, just as being a fox was this thing and in the end, his confidence was only a natural result of that.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure you won't get spanked."

Lifting his head a bit, Reynard nuzzled the Fool's neck. Of course he had slipped the handcuffs a while ago, but he kept his hands behind his back. Still planning and plotting.

And the Fool just sporfles at the spanking comment. The idea of the Wanderer spanking him and Reynard saying it get mixed in his head and just turns into some horrid image that he can't help but laugh at.

"By you or the others?" he manages after a minute.

And then at the nuzzling sporfles again. Punch drunk, yes.

"The others."

Reynard let the Fool giggle, smiling himself. He can imagine what images that brought on.

"I might spank you still, given how I happen to know that you're to blame for this mess in the first place."

"If I let you," he says. "And I have no idea why you would think I'm responsible for this."

He seem to be in a bit of a better mood.
