Despite working in a bar, Alec's never really been much of the drinking sort. He'll drink, of course, but never really into horrid excess. It's more of a 'if I get drunk then I might do something that will get me hurt/arrested/sent back to my family' sort of thing. Which is why it was more than unusual for him to be humming some what drunkenly in the bar before opening as he's trying to clean glasses.

He drops one.

Stares at it.

And then proceeds to laugh hysterically.

Because that's clearly the funniest thing ever.

Oh wonderful. It's the sound of the glass breaking that draws her out from the back room where she's been fighting with the accounting books for the last couple of hours. She really needs to hire someone to do her books, but the last guy who she'd hired had tried to scam her out of money, and she'd had to chase him off the property with her shotgun. Rumor had it he'd ended up in a swamp somewhere. She didn't know anything about that, but she kind of hoped so.

"What's going on in here?"

She can guess. Alec's dropping things. Although, as she comes around the corner, she starts to get the distinct impression that he's also...

"Have you been drinking, kid?"
