The kitten gives a startled meep as she's dropped and she teleports away before she hits the ground and reappears on Trever's leg, clutching tightly. Jerking out of the stupor of reading a book he nearly tumbles off the couch. The book most definitely falls to the ground.

"Hello!" Trever says as he catches himself. Righting and standing - Fluffy still on his leg- he holds out his arm to the raven to land on if the bird wishes. "Hey, there. It's okay... no one's going to hurt you," he says.
