"Ceilidh's the only one outdoors currently. Most everyone else is out at work or elsewhere. Though," Grady glances over his shoulder. "Simon! I told you to get Ceilidh to wash up. Not continue playing games after she ran off screaming."
The eight year old boy gives the exasperated sound of any kid who has been forced do something they didn't want to do. He didn't complain, just grumbled, and sulked outside in search of his sister.
"Trev's upstairs but he's gotten the flu so I don't think you want to talk to him," Rory adds. "Cavan works with bees."
"You'd like to talk to the hives, eh? I guess I could introduce you. Come on."
Grady steps back outside and starts to go around the house. The large wolf hound shakes all but one of the kittens off before trotting at Grady's heels. The remaining kittens vanish and then reappear to chase each other in the grass.
